Academic Service FAQs
What does an Academic Services Session look like?
All academic services, whether it be intervention, support, enrichment or play-based, will follow a similar interest-based structure. Each session is tailored directly to the learners needs, will be game/play based, will incorporate movement, will encourage self-confidence and will allow for curiosity. At Conversations Together, we pride ourselves in meeting learners exactly where they are. We are always excited to find new and innovative ways to help each learner reach their full potential.
What is the difference between intervention, support and enrichment?
Intervention, support and enrichment refer to the levels of support or challenge a learner might need to excel in a certain academic content area. Conversations Together's main goal is to help each student find their voice, confidence and interests in the world. We welcome learners who need specific interventions, learners with unique learning styles, learners who lack self-confidence, learners who are innately curious, and learners to want to be pushed beyond the academic classroom.

What is the difference between individual and group sessions?
Individual sessions are conducted one-on-one with the academic specialist. Learners requiring intervention and support most commonly engage in bi-weekly individual sessions in the home or through tele-therapy.
Group sessions are conducted with an academic specialist and 2-3 learners. These sessions are most commonly enrichment, sensory play, or interest based sessions. These sessions take place in one learners home or through tele-therapy.
